Hi, I’m Melissa. Welcome to my blog!
The name was inspired by my sweet little daughter. When she turned two, she stopped eating the food I made for her, unless it was topped with sprinkles. So on any given day I’d hear her say, “Mama, please sprinkles?”
In 2012, I got my B.Ed degree and have been teaching in Elementary schools ever since. I absolutely love teaching, but I love being a mom even more!
When I got pregnant with my daughter in 2016, it didn’t take long to become completely overwhelmed by the saturated baby market. Anything to do with pregnancy, babies, and parenting was flooded with more products and recommendations than my head could process. I researched for months, watched only Lord knows how many “What’s in my diaper bag” videos, I pinned all the pins, and read all the books. I was convinced I needed it ALL, and bought a ton of stuff that I probably didn’t really need.
My husband is saying,
“SEE, I told you…”
(insert eye roll) 😆
I would love for this to be a place where you are comfortable sharing your stories, advice, and recommendations with the rest of us. Most of all, I want you to know that as long as you love and nurture your little one, you’re doing it right, Mama!
This blog is meant to be your ultimate survival guide to motherhood; whether you’re a first-time mom or you’re a seasoned mom experiencing something new. My goal is to help you avoid the mistakes I made, share helpful resources, and ease any first-time parenting jitters. I’m here to show you what I would do if I could do it all over again. My passion for teaching and my love for all-things-baby led me to create this blog so I could share all my tips with you. I hope you enjoy!
